This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for technical roles, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, and preparing offers as well as negotiations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of the role's essential components and develop a detailed recruitment strategy to attract and secure top talent.
• Employ various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, networking, and referrals to engage with potential candidates, while tracking ROI and gathering data insights.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of candidates to evaluate their technical abilities and cultural fit in relation to the role's requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and the current talent landscape, presenting data to key stakeholders and business leaders to raise awareness of talent market developments.
• Act as an operational authority within the applicant tracking system, ensuring process accuracy and reporting to enhance the candidate and manager experience.
• Lead recruiting-related projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening the capabilities and practices of the Talent Acquisition function.
• Leverage recruitment metrics and analytics to evaluate the success of sourcing strategies and provide data-driven suggestions for enhancements.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters, contributing to the overall growth of the recruiting team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for team members and both internal and external stakeholders on intricate searches, assignments, or projects.
• Identify and facilitate the implementation of process enhancements that significantly elevate quality across the team, department, or business unit.
• Drive and improve organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management or departmental projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Strong comprehension of technical roles and the various skills required across different positions, including software development, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data analytics, and data science.
• Proven experience working alongside HR, Compliance, Security, and Hiring Leaders to implement recruiting risk controls and best practices that safeguard the organization against candidate fraud, misrepresentation, and vulnerabilities in the hiring process.
• Experience recruiting for IT and technology positions, with knowledge of fraud detection methods, technical credential validation, candidate authentication practices, and emerging risks associated with AI-generated resumes, assessments, and interviews.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for Talent Acquisition.
