Senior Systems Engineer – Solana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage Solana validator nodes while ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the Solana infrastructure and its operations.

• Guarantee the uninterrupted functionality of Solana systems and carry out necessary updates.

• Oversee system monitoring and optimize performance accordingly.

• Explore innovative methods to enhance and accelerate the setup within the Solana ecosystem.

• Automate the deployment and management of nodes utilizing Ansible and Terraform.

• Collaborate with traders to improve infrastructure performance.

• Maintain communication with partners.

• Take part in the on-call duty rotation.

• Engage in continuous learning and development to expand beyond the current position.

• In-depth knowledge of computer systems and networking.

• Enthusiasm for blockchain technology and decentralization.

• Proficient Linux skills and strong system engineering capabilities.

• Experience with Solana validator operations is a plus.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to design and critically analyze system architecture.

• Educational background in Computer Science or Distributed Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Openness to occasional travel for team meetings and conference attendance.

• Capability to participate in an on-call duty rotation.

• Keen attention to detail, recognizing the importance of milliseconds.
