This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of German Public Sector Customers (FED/SLED) and their key decision-making factors.
• Link technology solutions, including the Everpure Storage portfolio and ecosystem offerings, to quantifiable customer business results.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and SI partners to develop customer experience and sales strategies that promote revenue expansion and new business opportunities.
• Advocate for the benefits of Everpure Storage solutions.
• Enhance sales strategy and tactics while assuming technical responsibility.
• Provide technical leadership and domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive NAS, SAN, and Object/S3 solutions.
• Oversee evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and present technical product and architecture presentations to customers and potential accounts.
• Gather requirements and convert customer business needs into innovative solutions.
• Write and contribute to RFP responses for the German Public Sector.
• Identify opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
• Foster mutual roadmap discussions and planning exchanges.
• Work with product and technical marketing to generate whitepapers and online presentations.
• Track competition, market trends, and the competitive landscape to enhance solution positioning and thought leadership.

• Pre-sales experience with German Public Sector customers is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
• Proficient in file protocols such as NFS and SMB.
• ONTAP NFS Administration or NetApp NCDA certifications are preferred.
• Experience in supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to German Public Sector or enterprise accounts.
• Thorough understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architecture, design, and implementation.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP, scale-out versus scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices.
• Proven ability to target new prospects and convert them into clients.
• Experience in contributing to or leading RFP responses for the German Public Sector.
• Extensive knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, and Object/S3.
• Competence in Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Experience in installing and configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache, and windowing systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native digital transformation, on-premises systems, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
• Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in German at Level C2 is essential.
