Senior Systems Engineer – Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Create architecture and design while informing requirements, verification, and validation processes.

• Specify requirements and ensure verification and validation of system interoperability.

• Guide the integration of engineering disciplines to provide system solutions that fulfill the needs of customers and development partners.

• Collaborate with Product Management to establish baseline interoperability objectives for various projects.

• Supervise the development of user needs and the decomposition of requirements into lower-level specifications.

• Lead cross-disciplinary product development teams to execute the project's interoperability requirements.

• Drive efforts related to interoperability testing, troubleshooting, and certification, including participation in IHE Connectathons.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field.

• At least 12 years of engineering experience, specifically in the interoperability of medical and imaging systems.

• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Experience interacting with customers to gather customized needs.

• Extensive practical knowledge of DICOM standards and IHE integration profiles, covering implementation, validation, and troubleshooting of interoperability workflows.

• Strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership.

• Proficient in clear and concise writing and communication.
