Senior Systems Engineer – Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and develop architecture while guiding requirements, verification, and validation processes.

• Establish requirements and ensure verification and validation of system interoperability.

• Oversee the integration of various engineering disciplines to provide effective system solutions.

• Collaborate with Product Management to establish baseline interoperability goals for projects.

• Manage the development of user needs and the detailed breakdown of requirements.

• Lead cross-disciplinary product development teams to fulfill interoperability criteria.

• Document system capabilities in both product and project deliverables.

• Create and update the product Interface Control Document (ICD).

• Ensure that imaging software and devices adhere to DICOM standards.

• Spearhead interoperability testing, troubleshooting, and certification initiatives.

• Offer expert knowledge on DICOM standards and IHE profiles.

• Provide mentorship to engineers within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science field.

• At least 12 years of engineering experience, particularly in the interoperability of medical and imaging systems.

• Significant experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Experience in customer interactions to gather customized requirements.

• Extensive hands-on experience with DICOM standards and IHE integration profiles, including implementation, validation, and troubleshooting of interoperability workflows.

• Strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership.

• Ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely.
