Senior Systems Engineer – Federal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical relationship for federal opportunities, spanning from discovery and demonstrations to proofs of concept (POCs) and architecture approval.

• Collaborate with account teams to assess deals and formulate technical strategies that advance opportunities.

• Engage with federal partners and systems integrators to design, validate, and position solutions tailored for end customers.

• Create architectures that cater to performance, scalability, resilience, and security within federal environments.

• Establish credibility with customer architects, engineers, operations teams, and security stakeholders.

• Develop and sustain the federal technical toolkit, which includes reference architectures, demo content, solution briefs, and competitive positioning.

• Relay federal use cases, customer insights, and technical requirements back to Product and Engineering to guide the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in a customer-facing technical position (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SE Leader) at a software or technology firm, with experience in supporting federal clients in pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting.

• Proven history of leading intricate pre-sales engagements from start to finish in federal settings, with measurable results.

• Capability to convert mission needs and technical specifications into actionable solution designs.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities across both technical and executive audiences.

• Proficiency in influencing outcomes within cross-functional teams as a senior individual contributor.
