Senior Systems Engineer – Enterprise Storage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage the technical relationship for customer opportunities, spanning from discovery and demonstrations to proof of concepts and architecture approvals.

• Collaborate with account teams to assess deals and formulate technical strategies addressing unstructured data, performance, scalability, and hybrid cloud requirements.

• Create and validate solutions for workloads including file services, backup and archive, analytics, AI/ML, and applications adjacent to the cloud.

• Develop architectures that facilitate multi-site collaboration, cloud integration, disaster recovery, and long-term data management.

• Establish trust with infrastructure teams, storage administrators, architects, and application owners.

• Create and sustain the technical toolkit, which includes reference architectures, demo materials, solution briefs, and competitive positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales Engineer) within a software, storage, or technology organization.

• Proven experience leading intricate pre-sales engagements from start to finish, with measurable outcomes.

• Strong foundation in enterprise storage, file systems, and unstructured data management for both on-premise and cloud environments, including NFS, SMB, and object storage.

• Experience in supporting or selling hybrid cloud solutions, cloud integration strategies, or multi-cloud data management.

• Capability to convert customer needs into actionable solution designs.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences.
