Senior Systems Engineer, Computing Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Gather requirements, design specifications, test cases, and testing procedures in alignment with program development strategies and the goals of ARP-4754B.

• Integrate, validate, and verify the functionality of systems in a laboratory environment.

• Facilitate technical collaboration among systems, hardware, AEH, and software design teams.

• Aid in troubleshooting technical issues that span across hardware and software functional domains.

• Travel required is approximately 5-10% as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 7 years of experience.

• Experience in safety-critical systems, hardware, or software development (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A/B).

• Proficient in authoring and validating requirements.

• Familiarity with the avionics equipment certification process.

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to create concepts of operations and use cases.

• Skilled in writing comprehensive technical documentation.

• Experience in working with and testing embedded hardware and software.

• Knowledge in developing automated testing through scripting.

• Exceptional communication abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Flexible in adapting to change, committed to completing tasks in accordance with program timelines, collaborating with peers to make informed decisions, eager to learn new technologies, self-driven, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
