Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver pre-sales technical assistance and expertise to our clients and partners with the aim of meeting sales objectives.

• Build a trusted advisory relationship with key customers and partners (CIO, CISO).

• Update and empower the partner network regarding product advancements.

• Conduct workshops with potential clients or customers for product assessments and demonstrations.

• Execute hands-on testing to verify customer proof-of-concept configurations, network designs, and deployments using new products and features.

• Address RFI’s/RFP’s as needed.

• Provide market insights and product feedback to product management and back-office teams.

• Stay informed about competitive products, solutions, and services.

• Write whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other content aimed at customers and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in planning and designing or operating WAN/LAN networks for service providers or large enterprises.

• Familiarity with Cloud security solutions including FWaaS, DLP, CASB, RBI, and malware prevention technologies.

• Understanding of security technologies such as proxies, SSL/TLS, VPNs, Active Directory/SAML/LDAP, and threat prevention and mitigation.

• Knowledge of networking and security architectures within the SASE framework.

• Comprehensive understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and its operations.

• Proficient in WAN technologies and protocols including MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and multicast.

• Experience in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high-performance, and resilient enterprise networking and security solutions.

• Proficiency in Linux administration.

• Willingness to travel frequently as part of this role (30%).

• Beneficial Skills:

• Knowledge of best practices in architectures for SaaS applications.

• Practical experience with public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware.

• Familiarity with shell scripting and Python scripting.
