Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver pre-sales technical support and expertise to our customers and partners with the aim of meeting sales objectives.

• Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic customers and partners (CIO, CISO).

• Facilitate and/or update the partner network regarding product advancements.

• Conduct workshops with prospects or customers for product evaluations and demonstrations.

• Execute hands-on testing to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and deployments using new products and features.

• Address RFI’s/RFP’s effectively.

• Provide market and product insights to product management and back-office teams.

• Stay informed about competitive solutions, products, and services.

• Write whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other content aimed at customers and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing accounts within the Defence sector.

• Preference for candidates who currently possess, or have previously held, an active security clearance.

• Expertise in planning, designing, or operating WAN/LAN networks for service providers or large enterprises.

• Knowledge of Cloud security solutions, including FWaaS, DLP, CASB, RBI, and malware prevention strategies.

• Familiarity with security technologies such as proxies, SSL/TLS, VPNs, Active Directory/SAML/LDAP, as well as threat prevention and mitigation techniques.

• Understanding of networking and security architectures within the SASE framework.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack and its operations.

• Proficiency with WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and multicast.

• Experience in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high-performance, resilient enterprise networking and security solutions.

• Knowledge of Linux administration.

• Beneficial Skills:

• Familiarity with best practices architectures for SaaS applications.

• Practical experience with public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware.

• Proficiency in shell scripting and Python scripting.
