Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and maintain environments for IBM Netcool Operations Insight and IBM CP4AIOps.

• Integrate various monitoring tools, event sources, and topology data to achieve comprehensive observability.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying Netcool Omnibus, Netcool Impact, and Cognos Analytics within high-availability environments.

• Proven experience in deploying topology managers, Runbook automation, and CENA components on the RedHat OCP platform.

• Skilled in deploying multiple probes and gateways in high-availability settings.

• Experience in creating custom rules for probes.

• Proficient in designing and developing custom reports using Cognos.

• Experienced in developing custom policies for Netcool Impact to integrate with third-party systems.

• Create automation workflows aimed at incident remediation and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations and minimize MTTR.

• Ensure adherence to best practices regarding scalability, security, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in the IT field.

• More than 4 years of relevant experience with the IBM Netcool Operations Insight & AIOPS platform.

• Hands-on expertise with IBM Netcool, Cloud Pak for AIOps, and associated components.

• Strong understanding of event management, ITSM integration, and observability frameworks.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and deployments involving containers.

• Proficient scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation and customization purposes.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills.
