Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical expert interfacing with customers, tasked with the design, specification, and support of electrical power distribution systems.

• Analyze and interpret customer specifications, one-line diagrams, Basis of Design documents, and various technical requirements.

• Design and provide support for integrated medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.

• Convert customer and AI workload requirements into scalable electrical system architectures.

• Function as the main technical point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Facilitate customer meetings, technical reviews, design walkthroughs, and discussions for clarifications.

• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer regarding system operation, functionality, and architecture.

• Collaborate with Sales and Applications Engineering teams to create technical proposals.

• Engage in customer site visits, facility tours, and conduct technical evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education and experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in electrical power systems, ideally within data center, mission-critical, or industrial settings.

• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.

• Experience in reviewing electrical one-line diagrams, specifications, and design documents.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with major OEM platforms such as Schneider Electric, GE, ABB, Siemens, or SEL.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Ability to oversee customer-facing technical engagements and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 30% as dictated by customer and project requirements.
