This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for U.S. Air Force weapon system acquisition and sustainment initiatives.
• Work in collaboration with government program office personnel and stakeholders to create acquisition and sustainment strategies as well as plans.
• Assist the Government in preparing milestones throughout all stages and phases of the product lifecycle.
• Assess prime and subcontractor recommendations concerning operational and support challenges, including ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, FAA Bulletins, and related documents.
• Prepare and coordinate engineering analysis reports and acquisition planning documents, such as RFI/RFQ/RFP packages and review boards.
• Execute engineering support tasks and produce or evaluate technical assessments, engineering studies, reports, analyses, and airworthiness documentation.
• Examine equipment and software requirements, designs, integrations, tests, and deficiencies, and propose solutions.
• Engage in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, certification working groups, and other technical gatherings.
• Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in any engineering field.
• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant engineering experience.
• Preferred Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Engineering and Technical Management (ETM), Engineering (ENG), or an equivalent.
• Highly desired experience in aircraft development, production, and/or modernization programs.
• Preferred experience in Air Force weapon system acquisition or program office operations.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
