This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Oversee all technical components of the sales process, which includes addressing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Manage and organize Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives, collaborating with internal teams, partners, and clients.
• Act as the main technical liaison for clients and partners, closely partnering with your sales colleague to achieve successful results.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs—both stated and implied—and develop solutions that set Fortinet apart in competitive settings.
• Present Fortinet’s solutions confidently during customer meetings, whiteboarding sessions, technical deep dives, and in documentation.
• Keep current with knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, along with the competitive landscape and emerging threats.
• Efficiently juggle multiple projects and priorities while ensuring a consistently positive experience for customers.
• Guarantee precise and prompt documentation of customer and opportunity data within Salesforce.
• Strong technical knowledge in cybersecurity technologies such as encryption, authentication, network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, and networking fundamentals (routing, switching, LAN/WAN).
• Experience in a pre-sales engineering position, overseeing the entire technical sales lifecycle.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of contributing to significant wins.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with industry certifications such as CISSP is advantageous.
