This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Promote RUCKUS networking solutions through a network of channel partners as part of a collaborative team including Territory/Vertical Account Managers and/or Partner Account Managers.
• Tackle technical and business challenges by identifying and positioning appropriate RUCKUS solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Formulate and implement territory account plans leveraging business economics, industry trends, and expertise in key vertical markets.
• Engage with partners and end customers through technical demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, enablement sessions, and workshops.
• Provide precise kit lists and high-level solution designs to facilitate the sales process.
• Serve as a trusted technical consultant, differentiating and positioning RUCKUS in a competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with Territory and Partner Account Managers to drive revenue, support sales initiatives, and contribute to achieving quota objectives.
• Align technical solutions with the business goals of customers.
• Over 5 years of pertinent experience with IP/Wireless technologies.
• Strong understanding of pre-sales engineering and sales processes, including essential account management.
• In-depth knowledge of the evolution of 802.11 Wi-Fi, covering Wi-Fi 5, 6, and 7.
• Familiarity with RF antenna signal propagation behavior.
• Understanding of best practices for wireless design and assessment.
• Knowledge of WLAN security protocols.
• Experience in creating predictive heat maps.
• Proficient in wireless troubleshooting and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of IP routing and switching, including WAN/LAN design, setup, and configuration.
• General knowledge of VLANs, security, VoIP, QoS, BYOD/MDM, PtP, mesh architectures, wireless controller frameworks, Wi-Fi protocols and transmission, RF engineering, and both indoor and outdoor wireless deployments, as well as packet capture/analysis tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather relevant information and document as well as articulate findings to senior leadership.
• Advanced understanding of partner business drivers and how they relate to customer network platforms and environments.
• Capability to identify areas for improvement in network design.
• Experience with the MEDDIC sales methodology and process.
• Proficient in communicating technical solutions both in writing and verbally to diverse audiences, including executive-level decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland, especially in the North of England, approximately 50% of the time.
