Senior Systems Developer – C++, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop fundamental algorithms related to machine learning, computer vision, and (inverse-) procedural modeling in C++ with varying degrees of supervision.

• Implement cutting-edge research findings in machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics.

• Work in close collaboration with leadership to gain insight into the overarching product vision and customer needs.

• Utilize Git for proficient source code management.

• Deploy and validate code on extensive geospatial datasets, ultimately creating 3D content for user access.

• Engage with remote machines through a Unix shell.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of pertinent industry experience in a dynamic, high-growth technological environment.

• A team-oriented and collaborative mindset, demonstrating enthusiasm, aptitude, and a readiness to learn new methodologies, tools, practices, and skills.

• Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts in clear, accessible terms for non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience in designing and constructing high-performance, efficient systems in C++, emphasizing code optimization for speed, scalability, and resource management.

• Familiarity with modern C++ standards.

• Strong mathematical foundation, including aspects of linear algebra, probability, and geometry.

• Preferred experience with Git or alternative distributed version control systems.

• Comfortable operating in a Unix shell environment (e.g., bash); proficiency is crucial for our setup.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced setting.

• Prior experience with game technologies, including Unreal Engine, C++, computational geometry, and computer graphics.

• Outstanding analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-paced environment.
