Mainframe Systems Analyst, Mid-level (Pl)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze and develop system projects while eliciting and assessing requirements.

• Map processes and conduct logical and physical data modeling to explore and implement systems according to business regulations.

• Evaluate the performance of implemented systems.

• Diagnose technical problems and produce technical documentation.

• Oversee programming services.

• Create test scripts in KDZ, engage in data modeling using CASE tools (ERWN), and work with algorithms. Proficient in programming languages such as COBOL / COBOL CICS and Natural, as well as databases/technologies including DB2, SQL, and VSAM. Skilled in Structured Systems Analysis.

• Develop and implement tests in KDZ; actively participate in agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.

• The client is looking for a professional who demonstrates initiative, proactivity, and a strong sense of ownership regarding assigned responsibilities.

• Capability to manage requests available on the platform, resolve them, and effectively monitor development code on the mainframe platform.

• Essential knowledge includes mainframe programming languages, Natural One and COBOL, utilizing the tools provided by the client; experience in developing and executing tests in KDZ.
