This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows.
• Identify system requirements and convert them into detailed specifications.
• Design and implement solutions aimed at enhancing system efficiency and user experience.
• Provide advanced support for applications such as Epic, Workday, UKG, and others.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and patches.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to integrate Epic, third-party imaging applications, AI, and other systems within the IT portfolio.
• Manage smaller projects associated with system implementations and upgrades.
• Lead project teams utilizing waterfall, agile, and various project management methodologies.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for system configurations and processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and offer guidance on best practices.
• Ensure seamless integration among healthcare applications.
• Oversee data integrity and security across systems.
• Conduct data analysis and produce reports as required.
• Uphold the application vision while safeguarding the integrity and security of the application environment in collaboration with architects, tech leads, and engineers.
• Engage with end users to identify, analyze, and support ongoing needs while meeting SLAs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives related to application management for enterprise applications.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Perform duties with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required, or 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare setting.
• Extensive experience with Epic, Workday, and UKG applications.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in system integration and data migration projects.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managed service providers, vendors, and operational leadership.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications in relevant technologies such as Epic, Workday, Microsoft, or UKG are advantageous.
• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Experience within a large healthcare system or hospital environment.
• Familiarity with other healthcare applications and systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Full-time position with 40 scheduled hours per week.
• Option to work from home within Ohio.
• ITIL Foundation certification is desired, but not required.
