This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, test, train, deploy, and provide support for Epic applications.
• Collect stakeholder requirements, map workflows, and craft Epic configurations that align with operational objectives.
• Generate specifications, decision logs, design documents, and thorough system documentation.
• Perform gap analyses for upgrades, regulatory changes, and new initiatives.
• Oversee smaller system implementation and upgrade projects using either waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Guide junior analysts and offer best-practice recommendations.
• Configure Epic records, master files, profiles, rules, security classes, and workflows.
• Develop and implement unit, integrated, and UAT test plans; address defects and document testing evidence.
• Validate interfaces, printing, reporting, downstream workflows, and regression coverage.
• Coordinate releases, environment transitions, and downtime protocols.
• Provide go-live and post-live hypercare support, along with at-the-elbow assistance.
• Manage service requests and incidents while adhering to SLAs through triage and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver advanced support for Epic, Workday, Kronos, and additional applications.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, interface, analytics, and operational teams on integrations, data management, reporting, and compliance.
• Design and execute tailored Epic training programs and oversee CareConnect curriculum governance.
• Maintain training environments and communicate updates regarding system releases and upgrades.
• Handle end-user training requests and incidents, while enhancing support processes.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare setting.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare context.
• Familiarity with Epic applications and healthcare workflows.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.
• Knowledge of ITIL, change control, SDLC practices, system governance, and waterfall/agile project methodologies.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clinical and operational stakeholders as well as managed service providers.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• For the Application Training role: Epic Training Environment Build certified, with 3+ years of experience and 2 Epic Application Principal Trainer certifications.
• For the Application Build role: current Epic certification or proficiency in relevant modules.
• For the Application Build role: 3+ years of Epic build and configuration experience.
• Experience with system integration, HL7, FHIR, and interface testing.
• Exposure to SQL/Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, or reporting tools.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• An advanced degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Full-time schedule with 40 hours scheduled weekly.
