This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Establish and formalize processes and best practices for system development, integration, delivery, and operations.
• Implement governance frameworks, decision-making structures, and change and release controls.
• Conduct audits on the execution of established processes and ensure compliance in projects and deliveries.
• Design, develop, and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and governance metrics (e.g., availability, delivery lead time, failure rate, remediation cycle).
• Generate and maintain governance reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee the results of implemented practices and initiate corrective measures when indicators reveal deviations.
• Manage and govern the systems portfolio, assisting in initiative prioritization alongside business and architecture teams.
• Review and authorize architectural decisions and critical changes that affect quality, security, and scalability.
• Lead and assist in internal and external audits related to processes, security, and compliance.
• Document processes, policies, and standards; provide training to teams on governance practices and tool utilization.
• Facilitate communication between business units, development, operations, and security to ensure alignment on expectations and governance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in IT governance and software lifecycle management (analysis, development, testing, deployment, operation).
• Practical experience with process audits, defining SLAs/KPIs, and generating governance reports.
• Development management tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Azure DevOps.
• IT Service Management (ITSM) / incident management tools: ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar.
• Reporting and analytics tools: Power BI or advanced Excel.
• Basic SQL and scripting (Python, Bash) for data extraction and analysis.
• Process modeling tools: BPMN, Visio, or similar.
• Familiarity with COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, integration, and security patterns.
• Preferred: ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Advantageous: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor certification.
• Advantageous: Experience in project management.
• Capability to define clear, measurable processes and metrics.
• Ability to audit, identify non-conformities, and suggest corrective actions.
• Effective communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Data- and results-oriented mindset; attention to detail and evidence-based decision-making.
• Skills in influencing and negotiation to align priorities and ensure the adoption of practices.
• Autonomy to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage associated risks.
