This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• The Senior Systems Analyst for Epic will be instrumental in the design, construction, testing, training, deployment, and support of Epic applications to enhance both clinical and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and refine requirements, map existing workflows, and create Epic configurations that are in line with operational objectives and policies.
• Oversee smaller projects pertaining to system implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain specifications, decision logs, and design documents to ensure clear traceability and effective change control.
• Perform gap analyses to determine necessary configuration or workflow adjustments for upgrades, regulatory updates, or new initiatives.
• Create and sustain detailed documentation for system configurations and operational processes.
• Configure records, master files, and tools (such as profiles, rules, security classes, and workflows) in accordance with approved designs.
• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare setting.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare context, if a degree is not held.
• Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows (including clinical, revenue cycle, or IT experience).
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.
• Familiarity with ITIL, change control, software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, system governance, and both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
• A proven history of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
