Senior Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development and upkeep of systems on the Mainframe platform.

• Batch and online programming in COBOL.

• Collaborate on integration and communication through APIs, JSON, and IBM MQ.

• Work on financial and transactional systems utilizing ISO 8583.

• Execute querying and optimize performance in DB2.

• Manage VSAM file operations.

• Engage in behavioral mapping phases, interviews, and recruitment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience with Mainframe platforms.

• Familiarity with COBOL for both batch and online development.

• Understanding of TSO / ISPF.

• Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language).

• Acquainted with CICS.

• Proficient in DB2, including embedded SQL, queries, and performance optimization.

• Knowledgeable in VSAM, covering indexed and sequential files.

• Experience with APIs, including consumption and/or exposure through middleware layers.

• Proficient in JSON for data structuring and manipulation.

• Familiarity with message queues (IBM MQ / messaging).

• Knowledge of the ISO package (ISO 8583), essential for financial and transactional systems.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
