Senior Financial Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the architecture, configuration, and operational health of Zip (P2P), encompassing workflows, integrations, customizations, and agentic buildout.

• Act as the internal leader for the implementation of Vanta's inaugural CPM tool, collaborating with an implementation partner, and manage the product after its launch.

• Collaborate with the Data/Analytics team to design the Finance and Accounting data model in Snowflake, converting FP&A and Accounting requirements into data plans and SQL models.

• Design and sustain integrations between NetSuite and related systems such as Salesforce, Stripe, Anrok, Tesorio, Workato, Zip, Snowflake, and Slack, utilizing iPaaS tooling and direct API connections.

• Work in partnership with Procurement, AP, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, GRC, Data/Analytics, and RevOps to transform business needs into robust system solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience as a Financial Systems Analyst/Engineer/Manager in a fast-paced SaaS environment, including leading projects from requirements gathering through to go-live support.

• Extensive knowledge of the P2P function along with configuration and administration of procurement tools (Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or similar).

• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write, review, and debug custom scripts from start to finish.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting CPM tools for FP&A (such as Adaptive Insights, Pigment, Anaplan, or similar).

• Proven track record in building and managing multi-system integrations using iPaaS platforms and API endpoints (like Workato, Boomi, or similar).

• Solid understanding of AI governance frameworks (including human-in-the-loop, auditability, SOX compliance), with a clear grasp of when and how to integrate AI into finance and accounting workflows.

• Excellent written communication and design documentation abilities.

• Familiarity with NetSuite and CPQ is a desirable asset.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.

• Willingness to utilize AI to enhance skills and improve work, demonstrating curiosity, a desire to learn, and sound judgment in the responsible application of AI.
