Senior Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• The Senior Systems Analyst Epic will be instrumental in the design, construction, testing, training, deployment, and support of Epic applications to enhance both clinical and operational workflows.

• Collaborates closely with operational leaders and end users to convert business requirements into effective Epic configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions.

• Offers technical expertise by upholding the vision of the application while ensuring the integrity and security of the application environment and training processes.

• Directs process improvement initiatives related to Application Management and training for Epic and associated third-party applications.

• Engages stakeholders for requirement gathering and refinement, mapping current-state workflows, and designing Epic builds that align with operational objectives and policies.

• Oversees smaller projects associated with system implementations and upgrades.

• Develops and maintains thorough documentation for system configurations and processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare setting.

• Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment if lacking a degree.

• Experience with Epic application(s) and healthcare workflows, including clinical, revenue cycle, or IT experience.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.

• Knowledge of ITIL, change control, SDLC practices, system governance, and waterfall/agile project methodologies.

• Ability to effectively communicate with clinical and operational stakeholders, along with managed service providers, while producing clear documentation.

• Proven history of managing complex projects and guiding cross-functional teams.

• Epic Training Environment Build certified with 3+ years of experience (for the Application Training role).

• Holds 2 Epic Application Principal Trainer certifications (for the Application Training role).
