Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure (Windows and/or Linux).

• Take ownership of essential services such as Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, storage, and certificates.

• Establish and apply infrastructure security measures, including patching and least-privilege access.

• Contribute technically to support SOC 2 compliance and penetration testing efforts.

• Develop automation through PowerShell/Bash to enhance reliability and mitigate operational risks.

• Design and validate solutions for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

• Serve as an escalation point for intricate incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.

• Provide mentorship to IT Support personnel and deliver technical leadership throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise systems administration.

• Extensive experience with Windows Server, and familiarity with VMware and Veeam is preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; experience with SonicWall is a plus).

• Experience in monitoring and incident response, with ManageEngine as a preferred tool.

• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity setups.

• Ability to work independently in a regulated or compliance-focused setting.
