This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee M&A IT integrations for corporate acquisitions, covering network architecture, security and compliance alignment, and technical execution to facilitate smooth, secure technology transitions.
• Direct and manage projects focused on the implementation and enhancement of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.
• Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, which includes Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender XDR, Power Platform, and Defender for Cloud.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Purview, concentrating on securing the data estate and ensuring proper governance of generative A.I.
• Collaborate with fellow IT team members to strategize and execute system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, which includes creating project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to guarantee successful outcomes.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Develop workflows to transition administrative tasks to the Service Desk.
• Efficiently balance workload and manage project specifics to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and effectively.
• Oversee security protocols, including data loss prevention (DLP), multi-factor authentication (MFA), data labeling, and conditional access policies.
• Perform routine administrative duties such as creating device configuration policies, addressing vulnerabilities, configuring mail flow, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality and uptime.
• Stay informed about Microsoft 365 updates and adhere to best practices to keep our environment secure and efficient.
• Update and support the disaster recovery tabletop exercise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, with the capacity to plan, execute, and supervise multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender XDR, Power Platform, and Defender for Cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features, such as DLP, MFA, data labeling, and conditional access.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and train team members.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, are advantageous.
