Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior-level technical expert responsible for the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, security, and ongoing enhancement of the organization's infrastructure, cloud services, and networking environment;

• Serve as the primary Level III escalation point for intricate technical challenges;

• Provide leadership in systems administration, cloud operations, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure;

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure system reliability and security;

• Maintain and improve hybrid infrastructure environments that include Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS, Microsoft 365, and Cisco networking technologies;

• Develop and uphold infrastructure standards, configuration baselines, and operational procedures;

• Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud administration, networking, and cybersecurity;

• Proven experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments;

• Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure projects and technology initiatives;

• Experience in supporting enterprise production environments with high availability needs;

• Knowledge of identity management, information security, and operational governance practices;

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;

• Preferred certifications include one or more of the following: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SSCP, ITIL Foundation Certification.
