This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensures the reliable operation of DLA’s Okta environments.
• This encompasses the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network software and communication links within DLA’s Okta framework.
• Organizes and oversees the configuration and functioning of DLA’s Okta.
• Analyzes and resolves issues related to end user software programs and connectivity.
• Conducts capacity and performance analyses and offers recommendations for system configuration changes and upgrades.
• Enhances system administrator efficiency and accuracy through the implementation of automated tools and scripts, develops procedures for system administrators, and provides training and skills assessment for them.
• Delivers training for end users.
• Offers guidance on technology direction to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Supplies both local and remote maintenance support for various operational systems within the DLA Okta framework.
• Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications.
• Oversees the activities of other system administrators to ensure daily system administration tasks are carried out effectively, including system and resource optimization and user assistance.
• Utilizes advanced technical expertise in application networking, such as load balancing applications, and ensures fault tolerance.
• Must hold IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.)
• Relevant Okta certification from a recognized national technical authority.
• Five (5) years of overall professional experience in supporting Okta environments with increasing responsibilities in the IT sector.
• Proposed Okta administrators must be fully trained and demonstrably experienced in deploying and maintaining Okta environments for large enterprises.
• Candidates should also be proficient in configuring Okta integrations to work with standard enterprise technologies such as Active Directory, firewalls, APIs, Zero Trust endpoints, etc.
• Experience in oral presentations along with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
