Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the security posture for all systems.

• Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures such as MFA, conditional access, EDR, vulnerability scanning, and secure remote access.

• Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with our security partners.

• Maintain technical safeguards that align with HIPAA and support CMS and state audits.

• Develop and sustain security documentation, policies, and system diagrams—understanding our environment is crucial for effective security.

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure.

• Deploy and oversee Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, VPNs, and virtual desktop environments.

• Manage backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, and patch management.

• Spearhead system upgrades, migrations, and integrations as we consolidate business units.

• Drive M&A system integration efforts.

• Manage endpoints across a geographically dispersed workforce.

• Collaborate with operations to facilitate fast, secure growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise systems administration.

• Proven experience in HIPAA-regulated or highly compliant environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.

• Experience in macOS administration, iOS device management, and cross-platform environments.

• Demonstrated ability to manage VPNs, firewalls, network security, and backup/disaster recovery systems.

• Exceptional documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
