This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze system requirements, security specifications, and design documentation to pinpoint testable elements and establish traceability.
• Establish the scope of testing, identify relevant test cases, and determine appropriate testing methodologies.
• Develop thorough testing documentation.
• Assess the most critical areas for testing and allocate resources accordingly.
• Conduct system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-oriented systems and services.
• Record test outcomes, maintain test evidence, and ensure adherence to internal and DoW testing standards.
• Execute and relay test results promptly to meet project timelines.
• Identify, log, and monitor defects.
• Work in conjunction with developers and engineers to replicate issues and confirm fixes.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system testing, software testing, or integration testing within an enterprise or governmental setting.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing test procedures and test scripts.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative cross-functional engineering team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting test results and findings clearly.
• Experience in troubleshooting at the system level, encompassing both hardware and software.
• Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and security documentation.
• Strong grasp of system, integration, and functional testing methodologies.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
• Familiarity with DoW acceptance testing requirements for complex systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including least privilege, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
