This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Serve as the technical leader for intricate projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Facilitate technical discussions with demanding stakeholders, align expectations, and transform ambiguity into clear, actionable steps.
• Proactively identify organizational and delivery risks and address them promptly through structured communication in complex, high-pressure customer settings.
• Oversee complex, critical systems, implement updates, and resolve incidents to ensure operational stability.
• Design and execute advanced multi-cloud, hybrid, or on-premises platforms.
• Deliver comprehensive support, manage high-priority issues, and assist both junior and senior team members in critical scenarios.
• Fluency in both written and spoken German.
• Five to eight years of experience as a system engineer in cloud environments.
• Strong DevOps expertise: CNCF and HashiCorp ecosystems, GitLab, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, DevSecOps, IaC, and GitOps.
• Extensive background in software development, cloud migration, and platform engineering.
• Excellent networking skills with the capacity to translate complex concepts into practical network designs.
• Ability to identify security vulnerabilities early and address them effectively.
• Proficient in enhancing automation and developing new solutions to optimize operations.
• Solid understanding of how to align technology, architecture, and business needs within complex customer environments.
• Skillful in understanding client requirements, navigating challenging stakeholder situations with clarity and tact, and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
• Proactive in identifying risks and dependencies, capable of addressing them early and creating clarity in complex scenarios.
• You excel in challenging situations and actively seek solutions where others may see obstacles.
• You value quality and take full ownership of your work.
• Hands-on approach: you provide support to others during critical moments and ensure alignment among the right stakeholders.
