Senior System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, manage, and continuously enhance enterprise virtualization platforms.

• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of virtualized environments.

• Plan and carry out infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management tasks.

• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Network, L2 Support, and Remote Hands teams.

• Oversee and optimize enterprise storage, SAN, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Propel infrastructure automation and continuous improvement by assessing existing environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi, vCenter, and enterprise-scale VMware environments.

• Practical experience with VMware vSAN.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V and SCVMM.

• Solid understanding of virtual networking within VMware and Hyper-V environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and storage protocols.

• Proficient in automation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, and Bash.

• Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure services.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization capabilities.

• English language proficiency at level B1+.
