Senior System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design of the infrastructure architecture and platform.

• Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing systems on a daily basis.

• Manage deployment, maintenance, and evolution of the cloud infrastructure.

• Evolve the architecture to support product growth over time.

• Build and maintain monitoring, observability, and automation tools.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance CI/CD and integration.

• Advocate for DevOps best practices, Infrastructure as Code, and application security.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of system and network engineering as well as DevOps methodologies.

• Excellent mastery of AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or equivalents).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and GitOps tools (Argo CD or equivalents).

• Experience in the deployment and management of RDBMS, message brokers, and key-value stores.

• Ability to design and maintain complex and secure large-scale systems.

• Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.

• Solid skills in software design and architecture analysis, with the ability to view architecture from a high level (zoom in / zoom out).

• Proficient in technical English and a good command of Italian.
