Senior System Designer – Mob Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing and implementing new features and enhancements of various scales for Mob Control.

• Collaborate closely with a Product Director to shape the unit's strategy and roadmap.

• Develop new core gameplay loops and meta systems to enhance engagement, social interaction, and monetization.

• Create designs, user flows, and economic models, while also suggesting A/B test concepts.

• Work alongside product managers, engineers, and artists to transition features from concept to live launch, ensuring alignment in gameplay, user experience, and visuals.

• Evaluate KPIs and player behavior to guide design decisions and uncover opportunities for improving retention, engagement, and in-app purchase monetization.

• Engage in defining the overarching game vision, strategic direction, and long-term roadmap with product directors and studio leadership.

• Assist in establishing priorities and ensuring that design choices are in line with studio objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile midcore games (strategy, 4X, or similar); over 10 years is highly advantageous.

• A proven history in gameplay design, balancing, and meta feature development.

• Excellent communication abilities, emphasizing the creation of clear and concise design documentation.

• Capable of absorbing and implementing feedback from various sources with adaptability and humility.

• Proficient in simplifying and conveying complex systems.

• Comfortable with analyzing KPIs and player behavior to inform design choices.

• A strong passion for mobile midcore games coupled with in-depth knowledge of market dynamics.

• An AI-first mindset: Proficient in utilizing AI on a daily basis and in developing custom agents or reusable automations to enhance productivity.

• Proficient in English.

• Located within the European time zone, within +/- 3 hours of CET.
