Senior System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Utilize AI-assisted tools and code generation for the creation, review, and optimization of shell scripts and automation routines.

• Harness AI to expedite system audits, produce configuration documentation, and identify anomalies in system performance data.

• Employ AI-driven monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify issues before they affect availability or performance.

• Ensure the uptime, performance, security, and resource efficiency of servers and multi-user computer systems while adhering to budget constraints.

• Install, configure, and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades in compliance with change management policies.

• Leverage AI tools to quickly diagnose system and application problems.

• Develop and enforce system security policies while establishing auditing procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with AI-powered monitoring, observability, or AIOps platforms.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar) enhanced by AI-assisted authoring.

• Familiarity with AI prompt engineering within an operations or DevOps framework.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with experience utilizing AI code generation to speed up development.
