This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Spearhead the execution and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure projects (IDP, MDM, ITAM) from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Act as a senior technical escalation resource and mentor for junior IT personnel, promoting an environment of ongoing education.
• Engage in architectural decisions for SharePoint Online, ensuring site designs align with the specific data governance requirements of Finance and Legal while upholding audit readiness.
• Take ownership of, support, and implement infrastructure solutions to address sudden demand increases, especially during international growth, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and the onboarding of offshore personnel.
• Collaborate with the Information Security Team and senior IT staff to promptly execute necessary actions to address security findings and vulnerabilities within SOC2 and ISO frameworks.
• Assist in the development and testing of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), primarily overseen by the Information Security Team.
• Create and uphold technical designs and configuration baselines for all managed workstations, ensuring consistency across the global fleet to prevent any configuration drift.
• Deliver high-level engineering support for intricate hardware and software challenges for a remote global team that go beyond standard specialist capabilities.
• Design and manage monitoring and observability frameworks to proactively assess global system health and maintain heightened situational awareness.
• Liaise with key SaaS and infrastructure vendors to comprehend product roadmaps and communicate complex technical requirements for internal initiatives.
• Provide in-depth technical management for the global cloud stack, encompassing Google Workspace, GCP, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and CRM solutions.
• Proven Project Leadership: Established experience in leading high-stakes IT infrastructure projects from initiation through full delivery and documentation.
• Professional Experience: Over 4 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering within a high-growth setting.
• Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certification is mandatory. Project management certification or experience is advantageous.
• Expert Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell and Python is essential for automating user lifecycles and bridging data inconsistencies between systems (e.g., Rippling, Intune, Jira).
• Technical Mastery: Significant experience with cloud and endpoint management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Azure, MDM platforms, SharePoint).
• AI Literacy: Proven experience utilizing AI platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude AI) to enhance troubleshooting, automation, and documentation processes.
