Senior Surveyor – Offshore/Dredging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute survey operations on vessels and project sites.

• Manage survey activities and potentially lead the survey team.

• Provide precise survey data and project outcomes.

• Serve as a primary contact between the survey team, vessel or project management, and the client.

• Offer support and mentorship to junior surveyors.

• Uphold high standards of safety and quality.

• Utilize cutting-edge survey technologies and software.

• Progress towards the role of Survey Party Chief for Offshore or Chief Surveyor for Dredging, based on experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore, hydrographic, dredging, or marine surveying.

• Familiarity with industry-standard survey software like Qinsy, BeamworX, or EIVA.

• Hands-on experience with multibeam, GNSS, acoustic positioning, and processing of survey data.

• A practical and solution-oriented approach to challenges.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English, with at least a B2 level.

• Possession of an EU passport due to project locations and visa regulations.

• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East.

• Availability for a 1:1 offshore or 6:4 land-based rotation schedule.
