Senior Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee both domestic and international shipments in collaboration with carriers and freight providers.

• Monitor shipment progress and delivery timelines proactively to guarantee timely arrivals.

• Relay shipment updates to suppliers, warehouses, drivers, and internal departments.

• Prepare, review, and manage essential shipping documents (BOL, packing lists, customs forms, invoices).

• Coordinate last-mile deliveries and ensure successful handoffs.

• Receive, assess, and process product quality claims along with any shipment discrepancies.

• Manage inventory transfers and coordinate warehouse logistics effectively.

• Enter and oversee customer orders within the Order Management system.

• Maintain precise records in ERP and logistics systems.

• Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and company policies.

• Generate both recurring and ad hoc reports pertaining to shipments, claims, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation.

• Experience in B2B logistics or import/export settings (mandatory).

• Practical experience with international shipments (experience with Asia, Mexico, LATAM is preferred).

• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation (BOL, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc.).

• Experience in handling shipment discrepancies, reviewing documentation, or providing claims support.

• Familiarity with import/export procedures and logistics coordination.

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluent in English (critical for written communication).

• High attention to detail with a process-oriented approach.

• Ability to juggle multiple workflows across logistics and claims.

• Organized, dependable, and consistent in execution.

• Proactive in recognizing and resolving discrepancies.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Quick to learn with the ability to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
