Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Slotting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitates the movement of materials throughout the supply chain.

• Innovates new tools and processes to achieve supply chain goals, including the creation of metrics and monthly supplier scorecards.

• Collaborates with management to enhance supply chain performance and improve engagement with suppliers.

• Detects issues through analysis and formulates sustainable solutions for supply chain strategies.

• Develops new processes for forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision-making.

• Researches and compiles supply chain best practices, formulating strategies to support business case development.

• Conducts daily business analyses to support supply chain activities.

• Works alongside stakeholders and leadership to boost supply chain performance and supplier collaboration.

• Establishes procedures for delivering monthly updates to suppliers.

• Assists in all central replenishment activities, including collaborating with vendors on inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies.

• Develops supply chain metrics, identifies methods for evaluating these metrics, and audits supply chain data.

• Collaborates with merchants to plan for promotions, price adjustments, and exit strategies.

• Creates decision support tools and financial models to assess the cost/benefit trade-offs of inventory.

• Analyzes multi-tier distribution channels to evaluate cost and service level trade-offs for various product categories.

• Develops forecasting tools to facilitate collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.

• Knowledge of slotting optimization and warehouse/distribution operations.

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.

• Generally demands 2-5 years of experience in a related area OR an MS/MA with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.
