This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Employ logistical engineering techniques to analyze, forecast, and enhance supply chain operations and efficiencies.
• Deliver consistent, pertinent, and precise data analyses to support engineering decisions through data-driven approaches.
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager by establishing domestic and global end-to-end supply chain network benchmarks.
• Develop interfacing element tables that encompass products, sites, demand, sourcing policies, transportation policies, and inventory policies.
• Retrieve data from enterprise resource planning and business intelligence platforms.
• Address data discrepancies using rule-based attribute, record, cell, and consistency (ARCC) processes.
• Examine “service only” and “low cost” baseline models.
• Simulate current and future state scenarios along with their cost/service implications.
• Conduct cost-benefit and break-even analyses for Greenfield and/or Brownfield projects.
• Optimize product flow paths, including inbound consolidation, cross docking, port selection, and vendor direct strategies.
• Aid in converting complex system models (Llamasoft, Tableau) into executive-level presentations featuring analyses and data-driven recommendations.
• Work alongside Route Optimization to create enhanced transportation networks, including routes, modes, schedules, and fleets.
• Assess safety stock inventory levels and facility stocking strategies as necessary.
• Proficient in Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, subqueries).
• Experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations (slotting, inventory control, replenishment).
• Familiarity with WMS, preferably SAP WM / SAP EWM.
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus!
• Proficiency in Python is an additional advantage!
• Generally requires a BS/BA in a relevant discipline, with 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA with 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is mandatory in certain areas.
• Must reside in the specified state(s).
• This position may require up to 75% travel.
