Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and manage the electrical commodities/subcategories (including cables, harnesses, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, chips, etc.) to implement supplier production strategies (from NPI to full production) across Anduril’s business lines.

• Act as a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall commodity strategy, showcasing a strong sense of ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage.

• Evaluate suppliers' production capabilities, factory layouts, facilities, and workforce for their inclusion in the Approved Supplier List.

• Assist Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers (PSE), Supply Chain Global Strategic Sourcing Management (GSS), and Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in ensuring that suppliers understand and adhere to the quality criteria specified by SQE.

• Take charge of establishing new production tooling and lines, as well as development at suppliers as necessary, to ensure that materials, processes, and tools meet product performance, quality (criteria defined by SQE), and demand requirements.

• Manage capacity expansion readiness and oversee production ramp-up at suppliers.

• Establish and lead process performance and control (SPC) reviews at suppliers.

• Identify and implement product and process improvements, along with factory layout optimization at supplier sites, to reduce part costs, mitigate supply risks, eliminate potential defects, and enhance cycle time over the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with SQE on root cause analysis tasks at Anduril by working closely with the Supply Chain team and suppliers, while being responsible for closing the loop on root cause corrective/preventative actions at suppliers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 6 years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.

• Possess specific technical expertise in categories relevant to electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, and GD&T.

• Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance with the ability to maintain clearance.

• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.

• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local for onsite work.
