This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist the Trustee in meeting fiduciary, regulatory, and operational oversight duties related to superannuation administration, claims, complaints, and member outcomes.
• Offer cross-functional support in areas such as claims, complaints, incidents, remediation, oversight of service providers, contact centre management, and member servicing.
• Serve as an escalation point for intricate operational issues.
• Address and resolve complex operational challenges.
• Review and make determinations within the scope of delegated authority.
• Manage the performance of service providers.
• Contribute to operational governance, risk management, regulatory activities, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and provide technical support.
• Assist in the distribution and delegation of tasks.
• Foster relationships with service providers, colleagues, Senior Leadership, and the Office of the Superannuation Trustee.
• Strong enthusiasm for Future Group’s mission to transition Australia’s finances from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
• Over 5 years of experience in a superannuation operations position.
• Background in customer service, particularly in a contact or member service centre.
• Comprehensive knowledge of superannuation legislation and product design.
• RG146 certification or a commitment to pursue training and achieve compliance within 12 months of starting.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, business, or a related field, or relevant industry experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Direct experience within a superannuation RSE Licensee (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with insurance components of the superannuation system, including Death, TPD, Terminal Illness, and Income Protection (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience collaborating with outsourced service providers (preferred but not mandatory).
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in communicating with individuals across various levels and backgrounds.
• Competence in delegating tasks while maintaining accountability for the outcomes.
