This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist in complex strategy and commercialization initiatives across various sectors, focusing mainly on fusion and nuclear fission.
• Create technology roadmaps and market entry strategies for cleantech innovations, especially in nuclear energy and fusion.
• Interact with a diverse range of global clients and stakeholders, from government agencies to founders of startups.
• Provide guidance to team members, manage project deliveries, and ensure client objectives are achieved.
• Support clients throughout their commercialization process, from conception to market entry.
• Represent Helixos through thought leadership and by forming partnerships within the cleantech ecosystem.
• Lead strategy engagements from start to finish, from defining project scope to delivering final insights.
• Take responsibility for workstreams and perform strategic analyses.
• Convert complex technical data into straightforward, actionable insights.
• Mentor junior consultants and collaborate within the Helixos team on commercialization, communications, and technical advisory projects.
• Experience as a Strategy Consultant guiding clients on market entry, R&D roadmaps, and the commercialization of new technologies.
• A technical background in engineering, physics, or applied sciences, preferably in energy or related sectors, or demonstrable experience in guiding strategies within these fields.
• Proven experience in developing technology roadmaps and leading market entry strategies in the energy, engineering, or nuclear sectors.
• Ability to view macro trends while also identifying actionable commercial avenues.
• Comfort with working in a dynamic, remote team across various time zones.
• A genuine passion for sustainability, energy, and the long-term future of the planet.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce clear written outputs.
• Proven project management skills, balancing client requirements with internal processes.
• Understanding of the cultural and policy landscape within technology and startups, along with an instinct for market direction.
