This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +17 more states.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive performance reporting framework, establishing and upholding the metrics that monitor business health and progress towards objectives.
• Develop, sustain, enhance, and refine dashboards and reporting infrastructure, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate and timely access to key performance indicators while proactively identifying and escalating risks and opportunities within the business.
• Create and implement ad-hoc analyses to address essential business inquiries—investigating performance anomalies, uncovering underlying drivers, sizing opportunities, and stress-testing assumptions.
• Construct and maintain business performance forecasts, converting leading indicators and historical trends into forward-looking projections that facilitate planning and forecasting processes.
• Distill complex quantitative findings into clear, executive-ready narratives that foster alignment and drive decisions among cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product Analytics teams to ensure that data infrastructure, definitions, and pipelines fulfill the team’s analytical requirements.
• Recognize gaps in existing measurement strategies and proactively create new frameworks to monitor emerging products and initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration among Product, Data Science/Data Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to ensure that data and insights are aligned with strategy and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field).
• Over 7 years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, with a proven ability to manage complex, large-scale datasets.
• Practical experience in building and maintaining dashboards using Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (preferably Databricks).
• Strong analytical abilities, demonstrated by a history of translating data into actionable insights and influencing decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
