Senior Strategic Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders to formulate strategic, long-term financial plans and convert complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Provide direct support for various business sectors by overseeing all FP&A business cycles: executing monthly close, updating quarterly forecasts, managing annual budgets, and aiding in the preparation of the monthly Executive reporting package.

• Lead the reporting of monthly actuals versus budget and conduct variance analysis: identify key drivers and create executive-level commentary.

• Oversee the annual Capital Expense budget for both software development and long-term physical assets.

• Promote process improvements and engage in reporting enhancements with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Work closely with Accounting during the month-end close to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of expenses, accruals, and explanations of variances from the plan.

• Handle daily financial inquiries, generate ad hoc reports, and collaborate with other teams on projects and financial modeling.

• Develop business cases that facilitate value-based decision-making within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field from a prestigious institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in strategic finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or a related area.

• Demonstrated ability to work across functions and cultivate positive relationships with senior business leaders.

• Extensive experience in constructing and maintaining 3-statement financial and valuation models.

• Familiarity with Ad Tech, integration, and/or SaaS forecasting in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
