Senior Accountant, Finance / Balance Sheet Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with renowned companies from diverse sectors approximately every six months.

• Assist finance teams in their daily operations as well as special projects.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout projects and operate independently.

• Engage in projects throughout Germany and travel to client locations for technical onboarding.

• Travel to client sites up to 5 days per month, depending on the specific project.

• Secure appropriate projects by presenting yourself effectively during interviews.

• Transition seamlessly from one project to another, fostering both professional and personal growth.

• Enhance clients' processes and improve the efficiency and digitalization of financial accounting.

• Collaborate with new clients as well as internal team leads and sales professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in financial accounting.

• Vocational training or a degree in tax, accounting, or a similar field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles under HGB (German GAAP).

• Experience with or familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

• Proficient user of SAP FI or MS Dynamics, DATEV, and/or Oracle.

• Fluent in German.

• Very good command of the English language.

• For internationally focused projects, all communication is conducted exclusively in English, including meetings and written correspondence.

• Willingness to travel across Germany for business purposes.

• Openness to conduct technical project onboarding at client sites with travel up to 5 days per month.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and projects.

• Flexibility and a willingness to work on diverse projects across various industries.
