Senior Strategic Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an embedded finance business partner for 1–2 functions.

• Convert business strategies into financial plans while translating financial constraints into business trade-offs.

• Develop and rigorously evaluate business cases for product initiatives, sales and marketing strategies, market expansion, workforce planning, vendor selection, and build-vs-buy scenarios.

• Monitor investment outcomes and unit economics, delivering insights to leadership.

• Oversee the financial planning and monthly forecasting processes from start to finish.

• Manage operating budgets through regular reviews, variance analysis, and strategic guidance.

• Enhance forecasts and deepen understanding of business drivers.

• Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with the Data team to ensure they are visible and reliable.

• Utilize AI tools to accelerate insights, improve efficiency, and facilitate decision-making.

• Collaborate with leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, People, and corporate functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• A background that combines Investment Banking, Consulting, or Private Equity/Venture Capital with a highly analytical Strategic Finance role in a rapidly growing tech company is preferred.

• Experience with financial ownership for a fast-growing business or product line.

• Proven ability to demonstrate how decisions were influenced by financial analysis.

• Capacity to shape strategies and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

• Skill in structuring ambiguous and open-ended challenges.

• Proficient in articulating complex insights clearly to both finance and business stakeholders.

• Active engagement with AI tools to enhance efficiency, analysis, and decision-making.
