Senior Staff Finance Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the FDS team's data, tools, and AI capabilities, becoming a trusted liaison for Finance & Accounting stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting teams across strategic finance, corporate finance, revenue, accounting, and SOX to pinpoint high-impact opportunities for the FDS team to address.

• Work alongside the Finance Transformation team to support process redesign and solution implementation, focusing on AI-native outcomes.

• Thoroughly map workflows: data sources, current processes, requirements, SOX controls, and constraints. Convert business requirements into precise functional and data requirements for the FDS team to act upon.

• Oversee delivery from scope to closure: plan, coordinate, collaborate with the FDS team on execution, manage risks, and ensure successful deployment.

• Manage stakeholder relationships and communication from project kickoff through to rollout, including interactions with VP-level partners.

• Lead enablement initiatives: conduct training sessions, create internal documentation, offer office hours, and provide rollout support to ensure the tools we deliver are effectively utilized.

• Continuously seek out automation and AI opportunities across Finance & Accounting beyond the existing backlog.

• Mentor Finance & Accounting partners on the effective use of LLM tools, agents, data, and automation techniques in their daily tasks. Drive improvements in AI, data, and automation fluency throughout the Finance organization.

• Collaborate with Finance leadership on planning, stakeholder engagement, and program execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA, CMA, or an equivalent credential with direct experience in audit, controllership, or Finance & Accounting.

• Over 7 years of experience in Finance & Accounting encompassing month-end close, quarter-end close, year-end close, FP&A, SOX, and collaboration with both internal and external audit.

• More than 5 years of experience leading change and program/project management for technical initiatives, with a proven track record of successfully closing long-term programs in complex reporting environments.

• Extensive practical experience with SOX, ITGC, and ITAC, including designing and implementing controls in live environments.

• High competency with cloud data warehouses (such as Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent); including the ability to write SQL to validate requirements, create proofs-of-concept, and verify outputs.

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) including experience with GL, financial reporting, revenue recognition, supply chain, and 3PL fulfillment.

• Experienced user of LLM tools (like Claude, Cursor, or equivalent) in daily tasks, with the capability to coach non-technical partners on effective usage.

• Conceptual understanding of agents, MCPs, skills, and LLM-in-the-loop patterns, adequate for scoping opportunities and drafting requirements for a technical team.

• Capability to design data pipelines and modeling patterns that support reporting, analysis, and AI use cases.

• Demonstrated ability to define ambiguous problems and drive them toward clear resolutions.

• History of identifying risks early and concluding long-term initiatives with clear recommendations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across engineering, analytics, finance, and executive stakeholders.

• Practical aptitude for reducing operational fragility and eliminating single points of failure in finance processes.
