Senior Staff Experience Designer, Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of experience architecture for infrastructure and transportation workflows across various products and platforms.

• Collaborate with senior UX, Product, and Engineering leaders to shape infrastructure strategy and prioritize initiatives.

• Simplify complex, cross-product challenges to facilitate informed organizational and technical decisions.

• Leverage front-end and data-model expertise to ensure that the experience strategy is practical, scalable, and sustainable.

• Identify systemic issues related to workflow, interoperability, and data consistency, and lead efforts to align on solutions.

• Shape product and platform roadmaps by clearly articulating user intentions, constraints, and trade-offs.

• Guide the integration of AI into infrastructure workflows to enhance engineering decision-making processes.

• Serve as a resource and mentor for senior designers and architects within infrastructure teams.

• Represent infrastructure experience architecture in discussions at senior and executive levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in UX or experience design focused on complex, technical systems.

• Proven track record of making a significant impact on large-scale, cross-product or platform projects.

• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, civil engineering, or similarly intricate domains.

• Solid understanding of front-end architecture, data models, and API-driven systems.

• Demonstrated capability to influence strategy, prioritize initiatives, and make decisions without formal authority.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and high-stakes problem-solving environments.
