Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow – GRC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Create and assess high-quality configurations for ServiceNow.

• Comprehend client business use cases and technical specifications and transform them into technical designs.

• Align decisions with requirements and convey them to developers.

• Identify and assess various solution options to determine the best fit for client needs.

• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during the implementation of projects.

• Draft and evaluate design documents that encompass application architecture, frameworks, and high-level designs.

• Analyze architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.

• Develop and design comprehensive solutions addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Specify technologies, patterns, and frameworks necessary for implementing solutions.

• Grasp technology integration scenarios and leverage these insights in projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of overall experience.

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow architecture, application development, and implementation.

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow GRC and Legal modules.

• Proficient in Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, and related ServiceNow components.

• Familiarity with MID Server setup, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrations.

• Significant scripting experience with JavaScript and Glide.

• Experience with REST, SOAP, SRAPI, and import set APIs.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing custom scoped applications.

• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale ServiceNow implementations in enterprise settings.

• Knowledge of version control, CI/CD, and unit testing practices.

• Ability to consult on and influence technical decisions and architectural best practices.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Previous experience in enterprise software development in ServiceNow-competitive application domains.

• Understanding of SOA technologies and integration methodologies.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
